The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Woe to every slanderer and backbiter. 1 Who has gathered wealth and counted it, 2 Thinking that his wealth would make him last for ever! 3 By no means. He will be thrown into Hutama. 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 Fire of Allah, Kindled, 6 The which doth mount (Right) to the Hearts: 7 It will engulf them. 8 in extended columns. 9

True are the words of God the Almighty.
