The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 who collects and hordes wealth, 2 He thinketh that his wealth will render him immortal. 3 Never! He will certainly be thrown into the Crushing One. 4 And what will make you realize what the crushing disaster is? 5 It is a Fire kindled by God. 6 which shall oversee the hearts, 7 covered down upon them, 8 in towering columns. 9

True are the words of God the Almighty.
