People (Al-Naas)

6 verses, revealed in Mecca after Daybreak (Al-Falaq) before Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

(Muhammad), say, "I seek protection from the Cherisher of mankind, 1 the King of mankind, 2 the True God of mankind, 3 "From the evil of the whisperer (devil who whispers evil in the hearts of men) who withdraws (from his whispering in one's heart after one remembers Allah), 4 Who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind - 5 of jinn and men.' 6

True are the words of God the Almighty.
