The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta'. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the clear Book. 2 Perchance thou consumest thyself that they are not believers. 3 If We willed, We could send down to them from the sky a sign for which their necks would remain humbled. 4 And never does a new advice come to them from the Most Gracious, but they turn away from it. 5 So they have cried lies; therefore assuredly tidings will come to them of that they mocked at. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how many We caused to grow in it every generous kind? 7 Verily, in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 8 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 9
