He it is Who made the earth subservient to you. So traverse in its tracks and partake of the sustenance He has provided. To Him will you be resurrected. 15 Do ye feel secure that He Who is in heaven will not cause you to be swallowed up by the earth when it shakes (as in an earthquake)? 16 Do you feel secure that He who is in the heaven will not loose against you a squall of pebbles then you shall know how was My warning. 17 And verily those before them denied, then (see) the manner of My wrath (with them)! 18 Have they not seen birds above them spreading and closing their wings, with none holding them except the Merciful One? He oversees everything. 19 What other army do you have to help you apart from Ar-Rahman? The unbelievers are surely lost in delusion. 20 Who is he that can provide for you, should He withhold His provision? Aye! they persists in perverseness and aversion. 21 What, is he who walks prone upon his face better guided than he who walks upright on a straight path? 22 Say, "It is He who brought you into being, and made ears and eyes and hearts for you, yet you are seldom grateful." 23 Say: He it is Who multiplied you in the earth and to Him you shall be gathered. 24 But they say: "When will this promise come to pass, if what you say is true?" 25 Say: "As to the knowledge of the time, it is with Allah alone: I am (sent) only to warn plainly in public." 26 At length, when they see it close at hand, grieved will be the faces of the Unbelievers, and it will be said (to them): "This is (the promise fulfilled), which ye were calling for!" 27 Say thou: bethink ye if Allah destroy me and those with me; or have mercy on us, who will protect the infidels from a torment afflictive? 28 Say: 'He is the Merciful. In Him we believe and in Him we put all our trust. Indeed, you shall soon know who is in clear error' 29 Say: Have ye thought: If (all) your water were to disappear into the earth, who then could bring you gushing water? 30
