The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the heaven, holding the big stars. 1 and by the promised Day, 2 and [of] Him who witnesses [all,] and [of] that unto which witness is borne [by Him]! 3 slain were the Men of the Pit, 4 Full of fire fed by faggots, 5 When they sat by it, 6 and were witnessing what they did to the believers. 7 And they ill-treated them for no other reason than that they believed in Allah, Exalted in Power, Worthy of all Praise!- 8 to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Allah witnesses everything. 9 Indeed those who troubled the Muslim men and Muslim women, and then did not repent – for them is the punishment of hell, and for them is the punishment of fire. 10 Verily those who believed and worked righteous works, theirs shall be Gardens whereunder the rivers flow; that is the supreme achievement. 11 Stern indeed is your Lord's punishment. 12 It is He Who creates from the very beginning, and He can restore (life). 13 And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism), 14 The Lord of the Glorious Throne, 15 Effecter of what He intends. 16 Has the story reached thee, of the forces- 17 of Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 And yet the Unbelievers (persist) in rejecting (the Truth)! 19 And Allah, all unseen, surroundeth them. 20 Nay! This is a Glorious Quran, 21 (Preserved) on the guarded tablet. 22
