And when the caravan had departed, their father said: Most surely I perceive the greatness of Yusuf, unless you pronounce me to be weak in judgment. 94 They said: "By Allah! truly thou art in thine old wandering mind." 95 Then when the bearer of glad tidings came, he laid the shirt on his face, he therefore immediately regained his eyesight*; he said, “Was I not telling you? I know the great traits of Allah which you do not know!” (This was a miracle that took place by applying Prophet Yusuf’s shirt.) 96 They said: "O our father! ask for us forgiveness for our sins, for we were truly at fault." 97 He said, 'Assuredly I will ask my Lord to forgive you; He is the All-forgiving, the All-compassionate.' 98 Then when they entered unto Yusuf, he betook his parents unto himself. and said: enter Misr, if Allah will, in security. 99 And he raised his parents upon the throne and they fell down in prostration before him, and he said: O my father! this is the significance of my vision of old; my Lord has indeed made it to be true; and He was indeed kind to me when He brought me forth from the prison and brought you from the desert after the Shaitan had sown dissensions between me and my brothers, surely my Lord is benignant to whom He pleases; surely He is the Knowing, the Wise. 100 ۞ "My Lord! You have indeed bestowed on me of the sovereignty, and taught me the interpretation of dreams; The (only) Creator of the heavens and the earth! You are my Wali (Protector, Helper, Supporter, Guardian, etc.) in this world and in the Hereafter, cause me to die as a Muslim (the one submitting to Your Will), and join me with the righteous." 101 (O Muhammad), this is part of news from the Unseen that We reveal to you for you were not present with them when Joseph's brothers jointly resolved on a plot. 102 And most of the people, although you strive [for it], are not believers. 103 Thou askest them no fee for it. It is naught else than a reminder unto the peoples. 104
