Al-Mu' minoon 3 of 6
And the chiefs of his people who disbelieved and called the meeting of the hereafter a lie, and whom We had given plenty to enjoy in this world's life, said: This is nothing but a mortal like yourselves, eating of what you eat from and drinking of what you drink. 33 If you were to obey a human being like yourselves, you will certainly be losers. 34 "Does he promise you that when you have died and have become dust and bones, you shall come out alive (resurrected)? 35 ۞ How far-fetched what you are promised; 36 "There is nothing but our life in this world! We shall die and we live! But we shall never be raised up again! 37 He is just a man who invents a lie about God; we cannot believe in him." 38 The Messenger said: "My Lord! Come to my help at their accusing me of lying." 39 Answered (the Lord): "They shall wake up repenting soon." 40 So As-Saihah (torment - awful cry, etc.) overtook them with justice, and We made them as rubbish of dead plants. So away with the people who are Zalimun (polytheists, wrong-doers, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, disobedient to His Messengers, etc.). 41 AND AFTER them We gave rise to new generations: 42 No nation can outstrip its term, nor can it put it back. 43 Then sent We Our Messengers successively; whenever its Messenger came to a nation they cried him lies, so We caused some of them to follow others, and We made them as but tales; so away with a people who do not believe! 44 Then We sent Musa and his brother Haroun, with Our communications and a clear authority, 45 to the Pharaoh and his nobles. But they behaved proudly and thought themselves superior people. 46 And so they said: "Shall we believe [them] two mortals like ourselves - although their people are our slaves?" 47 So they accused them of falsehood, and they became of those who were destroyed. 48 And We gave Moses the Book, in order that they might receive guidance. 49 We made the son of Mary and his mother a miracle and settled them on a high land, quite secure and watered by a spring. 50

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
