And the dwellers of the Rock certainly rejected the apostles; 80 We sent them Our Signs, but they persisted in turning away from them. 81 They would carve secure houses out of the mountains. 82 But the shriek seized them at early morning. 83 And all that they had done (for security) availed them nothing. 84 And We have not created the heavens and earth and that between them except in truth. And indeed, the Hour is coming; so forgive with gracious forgiveness. 85 verily, thy Sustainer is the all-knowing Creator of all things! 86 And indeed, We have bestowed upon you seven of Al-Mathani (the seven repeatedly recited Verses), (i.e. Surat Al-Fatiha) and the Grand Quran. 87 Do not direct your eyes towards the things We have given to some of their couples to enjoy, and do not at all grieve because of them, and take the Muslims within the folds of your mercy. 88 and clearly tell the unbelievers: "I am most certainly a plain warner," 89 So We sent it down to the partitioners, 90 Who have made the Quran into parts. (i.e. believed in a part and disbelieved in the other). 91 But, by thy Sustainer! [On the Day of Judgment] We shall indeed call them to account, one and all, 92 About their deeds. 93 Hence, proclaim openly all that thou hast been bidden [to say,] and leave alone all those who ascribe divinity to aught beside God: 94 We shall help you against those who mock you 95 Who set some other god along with Allah. But they will come to know. 96 We are well aware that you are disheartened by what they say. 97 But you should glorify your Lord with praises, and be among those who bow in submission; 98 and worship thy Sustainer till death comes to thee. 99
