▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I swear by the setting places of the stars. 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew – 76 That this is indeed a qur'an Most Honourable, 77 (Inscribed) in the well-kept Book. 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]? 82 Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat, 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see-- 85 why then, if you are not revived, 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 (There is for him) Rest and Satisfaction, and a Garden of Delights. 89 And if one happens to be of those who have attained to righteousness, 90 (he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right' 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 This is indeed the ultimate truth. 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
