Verily for the God-fearing, are with their Lord Gardens of Delight. 34 What, shall we make those who have surrendered like to the sinners? 35 What aileth you? How foolishly ye judge! 36 Is there with you a Book wherein ye study: 37 That ye shall indeed have all that ye choose? 38 Do you have a covenant with Us which allows you to do whatever you want until the Day of Judgment? 39 Ask them, who among them is a guarantor for it? 40 Or have they other partners [besides God]? Let them bring forth their other partners, if what they say be true. 41 The Day the shin will be uncovered and they are invited to prostration but the disbelievers will not be able, 42 Their eyes will be cast down, ignominy will cover them; they used to be called to prostrate (offer prayers), while they were healthy and good (in the life of the world, but they did not). 43 Leave Me (to deal) with those who give the lie to this pronouncement. We shall lead them on by steps from whence they know not. 44 Yet I will give them respite: Surely My plan is compact. 45 Do you ask for any compensation from them that they are burdened with want? 46 Or, is the Unseen with them, and they are writing it down! 47 Then be patient for the decision of your Lord, [O Muhammad], and be not like the companion of the fish when he called out while he was distressed. 48 Were it not for his Lord’s favour that reached him, he would have surely been cast onto the desolate land, reproached. 49 But his Lord exalted him, and included him among His righteous servants. 50 Hence, [be patient,] even though they who are bent on denying the truth would all but kill thee with their eyes whenever they hear this reminder, and [though] they say: "[As for Muhammad,] behold, most surely he is a madman!" 51 although this is nothing but an Exhortation (to goodness) for everyone in the world. 52
