The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Woe unto every slandering traducer, 1 Who has gathered wealth and counted it, 2 He thinks that his wealth will immortalise him forever. 3 On the contrary! He shall be flung to the Crusher. 4 and what shall teach thee what is the Crusher; 5 It is the fire of Allah, [eternally] fueled, 6 Which mounteth up to the hearts. 7 It will engulf them. 8 in towering columns. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
