Have you seen him who turns his back, 33 And gave a little, then was grudging? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the Unseen, and therefore he sees? 35 Has he not been made acquainted with what was written in the scriptures of Moses? 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements?- 37 that no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; 38 and that man shall have nothing but what he has striven for, 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 Then he will be recompensed with a full and the best recompense. 41 and that the final end is unto thy Lord, 42 and that it is He who makes to laugh, and that makes to weep, 43 and that it is He who causes to die, and causes to live 44 And that He createth the pair, the male and the female. 45 From a drop of liquid, when it is added? 46 and that upon Him rests the second growth, 47 And that He it is Who enricheth and contenteth; 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 And that He destroyed the former (tribe of) A'ad, 50 And destroyed the tribe of Thamud, not sparing anyone? 51 and the people of Noah; they were the most unjust and rebellious people. 52 And Al-Mu'tafikah He destroyed 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 Concerning which then, of the bounties of thy Lord, canst thou dispute? 55 This is a warning among the warnings of yore. 56 The approaching event has come near. 57 No one besides God can rescue a soul from hardship. 58 Are you astonished at this news, 59 And will you laugh and not weep? 60 While you are indulging in varieties. 61 Rather, prostrate to Allah and worship Him. ۩ 62
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
