Some of the Pharaoh's nobles considered him to be no more than a skillful magician 109 "He wants to get you out of your land, so what do you advise?" 110 The others suggested holding Moses and his brother off and sending to all the cities 111 “To bring all the expert magicians to you.” 112 And the sorcerers came to Pharaoh, saying, 'We shall surely have a wage, if we should be the victors?' 113 He said: yea! and verily ye shall be of those brought nigh. 114 They said: O Musa! will you cast, or shall we be the first to cast? 115 Said Moses: "Throw ye (first)." So when they threw, they bewitched the eyes of the people, and struck terror into them: for they showed a great (feat of) magic. 116 And We inspired Moses (saying): Throw thy staff! And lo! it swallowed up their lying show. 117 ۞ Thus the truth prevailed and what they had produced came to nothing: 118 Thus there and then they were vanquished and overthrown, humiliated. 119 And the sorcerers prostrated themselves 120 They said, 'We believe in the Lord of all Being, 121 "The Lord of Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)." 122 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "You have believed in him [Musa (Moses)] before I give you permission. Surely, this is a plot which you have plotted in the city to drive out its people, but you shall come to know. 123 "Surely, I will cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides, then I will crucify you all." 124 The magicians said, "We will certainly return to Our Lord. 125 You would take revenge on us only because we believed in the signs of our Lord when they came to us. Lord, pour patience upon us and let us die as submitters (Muslims)' 126

ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
