Blessed is He who has established constellations in the sky and made therein a lamp and a shining moon. 61 it is He who has made night and day succeed each other, a sign for those who would take heed and would be grateful. 62 Devotees of Ar-Rahman are those who walk with humility on the earth, and when they are addressed by the ignorant, say: 'Peace;" 63 And those who spend the night before their Lord, prostrate and standing. 64 And these who say: our Lord! avert from us the torment of Hell; verily the torment thereof is perishment. 65 Surely it is an evil abode and (evil) place to stay. 66 And [they are] those who, when they spend, do so not excessively or sparingly but are ever, between that, [justly] moderate 67 Who do not invoke any god apart from God, who do not take a life which God has forbidden except for a cause that is just, and do not fornicate -- and any one who does so will be punished for the crime, 68 of sin-doubled shall be the chastisement for him on the Resurrection Day, and he shall dwell therein humbled, 69 except the one who may have repented (after those sins) and have believed and done righteous works, for then Allah will change his evil deeds into good deeds, and He is very Forgiving and Merciful. 70 And whosoever repenteth and worketh righteously, then verily he repenteth toward Allah with a true repentance. 71 And those who do not bear false witness, and when they pass by frivolity, they pass by with dignity; 72 And they who, when reminded of the communications of their Lord, do not fall down thereat deaf and blind. 73 And those who pray, "Our Lord! Grant unto us wives and offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and give us (the grace) to lead the righteous." 74 Those shall be rewarded with the highest apartment, because they persevered; and therein they shall be met with a greeting and salutation. 75 And abide there for ever: What an excellent destination and abode! 76 Say: 'My Lord esteems you not at all were it not for your prayer, for you have cried lies, and it shall surely be fastened.' 77
