Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ya Sin. 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom, 2 Thou art indeed one of the messengers, 3 pursuing a straight way 4 (The Qur’an is) Sent down by the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 5 That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are unaware. 6 Indeed the Word (of punishment) has proved true against most of them, so they will not believe. 7 We have put fetters around their necks which reach up to their chins so that they are standing with their heads upright, 8 We have set-up a barrier in front of and behind them and have made them blind. Thus, they cannot see. 9 Whether you warn them or do not warn, it is all the same; they will not believe. 10 You only warn he who follows the Remembrance and fears the Merciful in the Unseen. Give to him glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 Lo! We it is Who bring the dead to life. We record that which they send before (them, and their footprints. And all things We have kept in a clear Register. 12
