And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein 16 When the two angels meet together, sitting one on the right, and one on the left, 17 not a word he utters, but by him is an observer ready. 18 and (the human being will be told), "This is what you had been trying to run away from". 19 And the trumpet is blown. This is the threatened Day. 20 Everyone has come, each attended by one who will drive him on, and another who will bear witness. 21 You were heedless of this, but now We have removed your veil, so your sight today is sharp. 22 And one part of him will say: "This it is that has been ever-present with me!" 23 Do cast into hell every ungrateful, rebellious one, 24 who hinders good, exceeds the limits, is immersed in doubts, 25 and has set up another deity with Allah. Hurl him into the grievous torment.” 26 ۞ His companion will say: Our Lord! I did not lead him into inordinacy but he himself was in a great error. 27 Allah will say: "Dispute not in front of Me, I had already, in advance, sent you the threat. 28 My word shall not be changed, nor am I in the least unjust to the servants. 29
