Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By oath of those that are sent, one after the other. (The verses of the Holy Qur’an or the angels or the winds). 1 by (the angels) as swift as blowing winds, 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 Then separate them one from another, 4 by those who bring down the reminder, 5 To cut off all excuses or to warn; 6 Assuredly, what ye are promised must come to pass. 7 When the stars lose their light, 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 And when the mountains are blown away 10 and when the Messengers' time is set, 11 to what day shall they be delayed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 15 Did We not destroy the men of old (for their evil)? 16 and let the latter follow them? 17 This is how We deal with the guilty. 18 On that day, woe upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 19 Did We not create you from a weak water, 20 And We placed it in a firm lodging 21 For a period (of gestation), determined (according to need)? 22 We then calculated; so how excellently do We control! 23 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 24 Did We not make the earth a storehouse? 25 For the living and the dead. 26 And placed in it lofty and broad stablisers, and gave you sweet water to drink? 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 (It will be said:) "Depart ye to that which ye used to reject as false! 29 “Move towards the shadow of the smoke having three branches.” 30 “Which neither gives shade, nor saves from the flame.” 31 Indeed hell throws up sparks like huge castles. 32 As if they were yellowish [black] camels. 33 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 34 This is the day on which they shall not speak, 35 nor will they be allowed to proffer excuses. 36 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 37 This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples. 38 So if you have a plan, plan against Me (now). 39 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 40
