Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Beholdest thou him who belieth the Requital? 1 It is he who turns down the orphans 2 and feels no urge to feed the needy. 3 Woe to the worshippers 4 but are heedless in their Prayers, 5 Those who (want but) to be seen (of men), 6 And withhold [simple] assistance. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
