Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder, 1 the stars are dispersed, 2 And when the seas are flowed out, 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 every human being will [at last] comprehend, what he has sent ahead and what he has held back [in this world]. 5 O man, what seduced you from your munificent Lord 6 Who created you, shaped you, and made you well-proportioned, 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 No indeed; (the fact is that) you deny the Reckoning, declaring it a lie; 9 And indeed there are some guardians over you. 10 noble recorders, 11 and these honorable scribes know whatever you do. 12 Indeed the virtuous are in serenity. 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 which they will enter on the Day of Judgment 15 and from it they shall never be absent. 16 And what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 18 On that day, no soul will be of any benefit to any other soul. On that day, all affairs will be in the hands of God. 19
