On the day when We shall summon every group along with its leader; so whoever is given his register in his right hand – these will read their accounts and their rights will not be suppressed even a thread. (* They will be given the full reward.) 71 But whoso has been blind in this world shall be blind in the world to come, even farther astray from the path. 72 AND behold, they [who have gone astray] endeavour to tempt thee away from all [the truth] with which We have inspired thee, [O Prophet,] with a view to making thee invent something else in Our name - in which case they would surely have made thee their friend! 73 And if We had not made thee wholly firm thou mightest almost have inclined unto them a little. 74 In that case We would have surely made thee taste the double of the tornment of the life and the double of the torment of death, and then thou wouldst not find against Us a helper. 75 Their purpose was to scare thee off the land, in order to expel thee; but in that case they would not have stayed (therein) after thee, except for a little while. 76 This has been Our way with the apostles whom We sent before you. You will not find any variation in Our line of action. 77
