The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
The (Day) of Noise and Clamour: 1 What is the terrible calamity! 2 And what do you know what the Calamity is? 3 [It will occur] on the Day when men will be like moths swarming in confusion, 4 and the mountains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then he whose scales weigh heavier 6 He is therefore in the desired bliss. 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 his head will be in the Plunging 9 And what have you understood, what the one that abases is! 10 (It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely! 11
