The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
When the earth is shaken with its appointed tremor. 1 And Earth yieldeth up her burdens, 2 and the human asks: "What is the matter with it?" 3 On that Day it will relate all her news, 4 Because your Lord has inspired it. 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 Then whosoever hath worked good of an atom's weight shall behold it 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8
God the Almighty always says the truth.
