Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is split asunder, 1 the stars are dispersed, 2 when the oceans are gushed forth, 3 And the sepulchres are overturned, 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 O Man! What deceived thee as to thy generous Lord 6 Who created thee, then moulded thee, then proportioned thee? 7 In whatever form He willed, He put you together. 8 No indeed; but you cry lies to the Doom; 9 Surely there are guardians over you, 10 noble, recording, 11 They know (and understand) all that ye do. 12 The virtuous ones will live in bliss 13 And verily the ungodly shall be in a Scorch. 14 They will enter it on the Day of Justice. 15 and from it they shall never be absent. 16 And what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 17 Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 18 It is the Day when no soul can do a thing for another soul. That Day, the command belongs to Allah. 19
