God has created the heavens and the earth for a genuine purpose so that every soul will be duly recompensed for its deeds without being wronged. 22 Have you seen he who has taken as his god his [own] desire, and Allah has sent him astray due to knowledge and has set a seal upon his hearing and his heart and put over his vision a veil? So who will guide him after Allah? Then will you not be reminded? 23 And they say: There is nothing but our life in this world; we live and die and nothing destroys us but time, and they have no knowledge of that; they only conjecture. 24 And when Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, their only contention is: “Bring back to us our fathers if you are truthful.” 25 Say: "It is Allah Who gives you life, then gives you death; then He will gather you together for the Day of Judgment about which there is no doubt": But most men do not understand. 26
