The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When earth is shaken with a mighty shaking 1 And the earth brings forth her burdens, 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 having been inspired by your Lord. 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! 7 And whoso doeth ill an atom's weight will see it then. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
