The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
