3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
And Noah had certainly called Us, and [We are] the best of responders. 75 And We saved him and his household from the great distress, 76 and We made his offspring the only survivors. 77 And left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 78 Peace be with Noah among all men in the worlds. 79 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 80 Surely he was of Our believing servants. 81 Then afterwards We drowned the rest. 82 ۞ And most surely Ibrahim followed his way. 83 when he came unto his Lord with a pure heart, 84 When he said to his father and his people: What is it that you worship? 85 "Is it a falsehood- gods other than Allah- that ye desire? 86 Then what is your thought about the Lord of the worlds?" 87 And he cast a look at the stars 88 He then said, “I feel sick (of you)!” 89 And they turned their backs and went away from him. 90 Then turned he to their gods and said: Will ye not eat? 91 What is the matter with you, that you do not speak' 92 Then he attacked them, striking with his right hand. 93 Then they (the worshippers of idols) came, towards him, hastening. 94 but he said, "How can you worship things you carve with your own hands, 95 “Whereas Allah has created you and your actions?” 96 They exclaimed: "Build a pyre for him, and cast him into the blazing fire!" 97 They had contrived an evil plan against him, but We abased them all. 98 And he said: "I am going away to my Lord who will show me the way. 99 "My Lord! Grant me (offspring) from the righteous." 100 So We gave him tidings of a gentle son. 101 And when he reached with him [the age of] exertion, he said, "O my son, indeed I have seen in a dream that I [must] sacrifice you, so see what you think." He said, "O my father, do as you are commanded. You will find me, if Allah wills, of the steadfast." 102 When both surrendered (to Allah's command) and Abraham flung the son down on his forehead, 103 We called to him, saying: 'O Abraham, 104 you have indeed fulfilled your dream. Thus do We reward the good-doers.” 105 Indeed, this was the clear trial. 106 We ransomed his son with a great sacrifice 107 and left him thus to be remembered among later generations: 108 Salamun (peace) be upon Ibrahim (Abraham)!" 109 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 110 for he was truly one of our believing servants. 111 Then, We gave him the glad tidings of Isaac, a Prophet, one of the righteous, 112 And We blessed him and Is-haq; and of their offspring are some well-doers and some who wrong themselves manifestly. 113
