The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 Those are the signs of the Manifest Book. 2 (O Muhammad), you will perhaps grieve yourself to death because these people do not believe. 3 Had We so willed, We could have sent down unto them a message from the skies, so that their necks would [be forced to] bow down before it in humility. 4 Whenever there comes to them any fresh warning from the Merciful, they always turn their backs on it: 5 They will soon come to know the truth of that which they have been scoffing at. 6 Have they not seen the earth, that how many honourable pairs We have created in it? 7 Most surely there is a sign in that, but most of them will not believe. 8 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
