We built the universe with Our might, giving it its vast expanse. 47 And We made the earth a base, so how well do We lay out! 48 We have created everything in pairs so that perhaps you may take heed. 49 Therefore flee unto God! I am a clear warner from Him to you. 50 And do not set up with Allah another god: surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Thus has it been (in the past): never did a Messenger come to the nations that preceded them but they said: “(He is) a sorcerer, or a mad-man.” 52 Have they charged each other with this? Nay! they are an inordinate people. 53 so ignore them, you are not to blame, 54 And advise, for advice benefits the Muslims. 55 We have created jinn and human beings only that they might worship Me. 56 I do not ask any sustenance from them, nor wish that they give Me food. 57 Verily, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong. 58 So verily unto those who do wrong there is a portion like unto the portion of their fellows; wherefore let them not ask Me to hasten on. 59 For, woe unto those who are bent on denying the truth - [woe] on the Day which they have been promised 60
