▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I swear by the setting places of the stars. 75 And lo! that verily is a tremendous oath, if ye but knew - 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 Kept in a secure Book. 78 which none but the pure [of heart] can touch: 79 (This Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Would you say that this statement is a lie? 81 You live by calling it a lie. 82 Why, then, when [the last breath] comes up to the throat [of a dying man,] 83 Whereas you watch at that moment! 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 if you are not subject to anyone's authority, 86 do you not restore his soul, if you are truthful? 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 But, if he is of those who belied, and went astray, 92 its dwelling will be boiling water 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
