The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the heaven, holding the big stars. 1 And by oath of the Promised Day. 2 And the bearer of witness and those against whom the witness is borne. 3 Perish the fellows of the ditch, 4 by a burning fire 5 When they sat by it (fire), 6 And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses. 7 whom they hated for no other reason than that they believed in God, the Almighty, the Praiseworthy, 8 to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Allah witnesses everything. 9 Verily, those who put into trial the believing men and believing women (by torturing them and burning them), and then do not turn in repentance, (to Allah), will have the torment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the burning Fire. 10 Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great attainment. 11 Indeed, the vengeance of your Lord is severe. 12 Lo! He it is Who produceth, then reproduceth, 13 And He is the Oft-Forgiving, Full of Loving-Kindness, 14 Owner of the Throne, the Exalted. 15 Doer of what He will. 16 Did the story of the armies reach you? 17 Of Firon and Samood? 18 Nay, but the unbelievers still cry lies, 19 However, God encompassed their activities. 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Qur'an. 21 inscribed on a well-guarded Tablet. 22
