The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By those who set the ranks in battle order 1 And those who drive [the clouds] 2 and the reciters of a Remembrance, 3 Verily, verily, your Allah is one!- 4 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them; the Lord of the Easts. 5 Verily We! We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment: the stars. 6 and to preserve against every rebel Satan; 7 (So) they should not strain their ears in the direction of the Exalted Assembly but be cast away from every side, 8 And kept far away. There is perpetual punishment for them, 9 Except him who snatcheth away a word by stealth, and him then pursueth a glowing flame. 10 So ask them if they are more difficult to create, or the rest We have created? Indeed (man) We created from fermented clay. 11 No, you marvel, while they scoff. 12 And they do not understand, when explained to. 13 And, when they see a Sign, turn it to mockery, 14 and say: "This is clearly nothing but [a mortal's] spellbinding eloquence! 15 "What! when we die, and become dust and bones, shall we (then) be raised up (again) 16 And our forefathers [as well]?" 17 Tell them: “Yes; and you are utterly helpless (against Allah).” 18 There will be but a single blast and then their eyes will open. 19 They will say, "Woe to us! This is the Day of Reckoning." 20 This is the Day of Judgment which ye were wont to belie. 21
