The nation of Noah, belied their Messengers. 105 when Noah, their brother, said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 106 I am for you a faithful Messenger, 107 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they do? 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 'Noah' they replied, 'if you do not desist you shall be of those stoned' 116 He said: "My Lord! My people have branded me a liar. 117 Therefor judge Thou between us, a (conclusive) judgment, and save me and those believers who are with me. 118 So We saved him and those with him in a laden ship. 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 Verily there is a sign in this, yet many of them do not believe. 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
