Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
YaSeen. 1 and the Quran, the Book of wisdom, 2 you are indeed one of the messengers 3 On the Straight Path. 4 (This is) a Revelation sent down by the AllMighty, the Most Merciful, 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, and so were heedless. 6 (I swear) that most of them are doomed to be punished. They have no faith. 7 Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft. 8 And We have put a barrier before them, and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up, so that they cannot see. 9 It is the same to them whether you warn them or you warn them not, they will not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the Reminder (the Quran), and fears the Most Beneficent (Allah) unseen. Bear you to such one the glad tidings of forgiveness, and a generous reward (i.e. Paradise). 11 Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register. 12
