Hizb 46
< random >
And indeed Yunus is one of the Noble Messengers. 139 When he ran to the laden ship, 140 And then drew lots and was of those rejected; 141 Then the fish swallowed him, while he was blameworthy. 142 Had he not glorified God, 143 He would have tarried in the belly thereof till the Day when they are raised. 144 ۞ We cast him out of the fish unto dry land and he was sick. 145 And We caused to grow up for him a gourdplant. 146 Then We sent him unto a hundred thousand, or more, 147 And they believed; so We permitted them to enjoy (their life) for a while. 148 Now ask them (O Muhammad SAW): "Are there (only) daughters for your Lord and sons for them?" 149 Or that have We created the angels as females, while they were present? 150 Is it not a lie invented by them when they say: 151 'God has begotten?' They are truly liars. 152 Has He chosen daughters above sons? 153 What ails you that you judge in such a wise? 154 Will you not then remember? 155 Do you have clear authority? 156 Bring your book if what you say is true. 157 They have established a kinship between Allah and the angels; and the angels know well that these people will be arraigned (as culprits). 158 God is too glorious for what they ascribe to Him 159 Except the slaves of Allah, whom He choses (for His Mercy i.e. true believers of Islamic Monotheism who do not attribute false things unto Allah). 160 Lo! verily, ye and that which ye worship, 161 you shall tempt none against Him 162 except for he who shall roast in Hell. 163 None of us is there, but has a known station; 164 We stand in ranks (for prayer) 165 "And we are verily those who declare (Allah's) glory!" 166 And indeed they (Arab pagans) used to say; 167 “If we had some advice from the earlier generations,” 168 we would surely have been Allah's chosen servants.” 169 But they disbelieved in it; soon they shall know! 170 And surely Our word has gone forth respecting Our servants, the messengers: 171 That undoubtedly, only they will be helped. 172 And [that] indeed, Our soldiers will be those who overcome. 173 So turn away (O Muhammad SAW) from them for a while, 174 And see [what will befall] them, for they are going to see. 175 So are they being impatient for Our punishment? 176 When it descends on their courtyards, how terrible that morning will be for those who were warned! 177 So turn (O Muhammad SAW) away from them for a while, 178 And watch and they shall see (the torment)! 179 Glorified be your Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power! (He is free) from what they attribute unto Him! 180 Peace be with the Messengers (of God). 181 And all praise is to Allah, the Lord Of The Creation. 182
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
