Elucidated (Fussilat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Ha. Mim. 1 A revelation from the Beneficent, the Merciful, 2 A Book whereof the Verses are explained in detail; A Quran in Arabic for people who know. 3 Giving glad tidings and heralding warning; so most of them turned away, therefore they cannot listen (to the truth). 4 They say, 'Our hearts are veiled from what thou callest us to, and in our ears is a heaviness, and between us and thee there is a veil; so act; we are acting!' 5 Tell them, (O Prophet): “I am only a human being like you. It is revealed to me that your God is One God; so direct yourselves straight to Him, and seek His forgiveness. Woe to those who associate others with Allah in His Divinity, 6 Those who do not give zakah, and in the Hereafter they are disbelievers. 7 "The ones who believe and perform good deeds shall have a reward which will never be withheld from them." 8
