۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 And that is indeed a tremendous oath, if you understand. 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 in a Book protected (from tampering) 78 which none shall touch except the purified; 79 A Revelation (this Quran) from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And make it your provision that ye should belie it? 82 Why, then, when the soul of the dying man reaches the throat, 83 And ye are then looking on. 84 (And We are nigher him than you, but you do not see Us) 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 Then if he is one of those drawn nigh (to Allah), 88 Then is relief, and flowers – and Gardens of peace. 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 Then there is safety and peace (from the Punishment of Allah) for (you as you are from) those on the Right Hand. 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water 93 And burning in Hell-Fire. 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
