[O MEN!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 high above? 28 And He made dark the night thereof, and He brought forth the morn thereof. 29 And the earth He extended after that; 30 And from it produced its water and its pasture. 31 And stabilized the mountains 32 A provision for you and your cattle. 33 Therefore, when there comes the great, overwhelming (Event),- 34 on the Day when man will recall all his strivings, 35 and Hell will be brought in sight for anyone to see: 36 For, unto him who shall have transgressed the bounds of what is right, 37 and preferred the life of this world, 38 most surely his abode shall be Hell. 39 And as for him who dreaded standing before his Lord, and restrained his soul from lust, 40 Will surely have Paradise for abode. 41 THEY WILL ASK thee [O Prophet] about the Last Hour: "When will it come to pass?" 42 what have you to do with the mentioning of it? 43 Its knowledge rests with your Lord. 44 You are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof. 46
