The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
