The Poets (Alshu'araa')

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 Those are the verses of the clear Book. 2 It may be that you will destroy yourself with grief because they will not believe. 3 We could send down from the heavens a sign to them if We pleased, before which their heads would remain bowed. 4 Never does there come to them an admonition from the Merciful Lord but they turn away from it. 5 they have indeed rejected the message. But the truth of what they laughed to scorn will dawn upon them before long. 6 Have they, then, never considered the earth - how much of every noble kind [of life] We have caused to grow thereon? 7 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them will not accept faith. 8 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
