Pray, "Lord, if you would show me that [the punishment] of which they have been warned, 93 then do not include me, my Lord, among these wrong-doing people." 94 Surely We are able to show you what We warn them against. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best Aware of that which they allege. 96 And pray: "My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the suggestions of the evil ones; 97 And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me." 98 When death comes to any of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back 99 haply I shall do righteousness in that I forsook.' Nay, it is but a word he speaks; and there; behind them, is a barrier until the day that they shall be raised up. 100 Then, when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 Then those whose balance (of good deeds) is heavy,- they will attain salvation: 102 And those whose scales are light are those who lose their souls, in hell abiding. 103 the fire will scorch their faces, and they will abide therein with their lips distorted in pain. 104 “Were not My verses recited to you, so you used to deny them?” 105 'Lord' they will reply, 'adversity prevailed over us and we were erring. 106 Lord, take us out of this and if we sin again, we shall certainly be unjust". 107 [But] He will say: "Away with you into this [ignominy]! And speak no more unto Me! 108 Indeed, there was a party of My servants who said, 'Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of the merciful.' 109 But you took them for laughingstock, mocking at them, until they caused you to forget My remembrance. 110 Today I shall recompense them for their patience, for it is they that have won. 111 He will say: How long tarried ye in the earth, counting by years? 112 They will say: "We stayed for a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep count of this." 113 He will say: "You stayed there only a moment, if you knew. 114 Deem ye that We have created you in vain and that unto Us ye are not to be returned? 115 Exalted then be God, the King, the Real. There is no god but He, the Lord of the glorious throne. 116 And whoever invokes with Allah another god-- he has no proof of this-- his reckoning is only with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not be successful. 117 And say, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, forgive us and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful." 118
