Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), have We not comforted your heart, 1 and lift from thee thy burden, 2 Which had broken your back? 3 And [have We not] raised thee high in dignity? 4 So, surely with every hardship there is ease; 5 Most certainly, there is ease with hardship. 6 Then when thou becometh relieved, toil; 7 And to your Lord (Alone) turn (all your intentions and hopes and) your invocations. 8
God the Almighty always says the truth.
