Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Gross rivalry diverts you, 1 until you reach your graves. 2 You shall know. 3 Again, ye soon shall know! 4 Nay, would that you knew with certainty of knowledge (what your attitude will lead to, you would never have acted the way you do). 5 You will be shown hell 6 You would see it with the eye of certainty. 7 then you shall be questioned that day concerning true bliss. 8
