Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

YOU ARE OBSESSED by greed for more and more 1 Until you visit the graveyards. 2 Nay! you shall soon know, 3 Then no! You are going to know. 4 Nay, were ye to know with certainty of mind, (ye would beware!) 5 Verily, You shall see the blazing Fire (Hell)! 6 In the end you will indeed, most surely, behold it with the eye of certainty: 7 Then on that Day you shall be questioned about your worldly favours. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
