The chiefs of the people of Fir'awn said: verily this is a magician knowing. 109 who seeks to drive you from your land what do you command' 110 They said, “Stop him and his brother, and send announcers to the cities to gather people.” 111 to summon every skilful magician to your presence.' 112 The magicians came to the Pharaoh and said: "Is there reward for us if we succeed?" 113 Pharaoh replied: 'Certainly, and you shall be among those who are near to me.' 114 They said: "O Moses! wilt thou throw (first), or shall we have the (first) throw?" 115 He [Musa (Moses)] said: "Throw you (first)." Surely this is a device you have devised in the city that you may expel its people from it. Now you shall know! 123 I will certainly cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides, then will I crucify you all together. 124 They said, 'Surely unto our Lord we are turning. 125 "And you take vengeance on us only because we believed in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, lessons, signs, etc.) of our Lord when they reached us! Our Lord! pour out on us patience, and cause us to die as Muslims." 126
