۞ Also, We revealed to Moses, saying: 'Go with My worshipers by night, for you will be followed' 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 But we are a fully accounted army." 56 So We made them leave the gardens and springs of water, 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise; 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, those with Moses said: Lo! we are indeed caught. 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 Then We revealed to Moses, (commanding him): "Strike the sea with your rod." Thereupon the sea split up, and then each became like the mass of a huge mount. 63 Then We brought near the others [Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) party] to that place. 64 and We saved Moses and those who were with him together, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 68
