Do you not see that We have set the devils against the infidels to rouse and instigate them? 83 Therefore, do not hasten (in seeking a scourge against them). We are counting their days. 84 On the Day when We shall gather the Godconscious unto [Us,] the Most Gracious, as honoured guests, 85 and drive the evildoers as herds, into Gehenna 86 having no power of intercession, save those who have taken with the All-merciful covenant. 87 They say: "God has begotten a son." 88 Surely you have made a monstrous statement. 89 Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 That men should ascribe a son to the Most Gracious, 91 It is not for the Merciful to take a son! 92 there is none in the heavens or on the earth but shall return to the Merciful in utter submission, 93 indeed, He has full cognizance of them, and has numbered them with [unfailing] numbering; 94 And all of them are coming to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone. 95 Surely Ar-Rahman will show love for those who believe and do the right. 96 Therefore, We have revealed the Qur'an in your tongue and made it easy to understand that you may give glad tidings to the God-fearing and warn a contentious people. 97 How many generations We have destroyed before them! Can you find a single one of them alive now, or hear so much as a whisper from them? 98
