Say: "O Lord, if I am made to see what has been promised them, 93 My Lord! then place me not with the unjust. 94 We have the Power to strike them with torment before your very eyes. 95 Repel evil by what is best; We know best what they describe. 96 And pray: "My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the suggestions of the evil ones; 97 I even seek Your refuge, my Lord, lest they should approach me." 98 Till, when death comes to one of them, he says, 'My Lord, return me; 99 "In order that I may work righteousness in the things I neglected." - "By no means! It is but a word he says."- Before them is a Partition till the Day they are raised up. 100 Then, when the trumpet [of resurrection] is blown, no ties of kinship will on that Day prevail among them, and neither will they ask about one another. 101 Then those whose balance (of good deeds) is heavy,- they will attain salvation: 102 whereas they whose weight is light in the balance - it is they who will have squandered their own selves, [destined] to abide in hell: 103 The Fire will burn their faces, and they will therein grin, with their lips displaced. 104 "Were not My messages read out to you? But you denied them." 105 They will exclaim: "O our Sustainer! Our bad luck has overwhelmed us, and so we went astray! 106 "Our Lord! Bring us out of this; if ever we return (to evil), then indeed we shall be Zalimun: (polytheists, oppressors, unjust, and wrong-doers, etc.)." 107 Allah will say, “Remain rebuked in it, and do not speak to Me.” 108 Among My servants, there were those who said, "Lord, We believe, so forgive us and have mercy on us. You are the best one to show mercy." 109 But you took them for laughingstock, mocking at them, until they caused you to forget My remembrance. 110 Now today I have recompensed them for their patient endurance; they are the triumphant.' 111 They will be asked: "How long did you live on the earth in terms of years?" 112 They will say: We tarried a day or part of a day, but ask those who keep account. 113 He will say: ye tarried a little indeed; would that ye had known that. 114 Deem ye that We have created you in vain and that unto Us ye are not to be returned? 115 So Exalted be Allah, the True King, La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Lord of the Supreme Throne! 116 And whoever invokes (or worships), besides Allah, any other ilah (god), of whom he has no proof, then his reckoning is only with his Lord. Surely! Al-Kafirun (the disbelievers in Allah and in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, pagans, idolaters, etc.) will not be successful. 117 And say, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, forgive us and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful." 118
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
