The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ When the Event inevitable cometh to pass, 1 there is no denying its coming 2 It will bring down [some] and raise up [others]. 3 when the earth will suddenly shake with a terrible shaking, 4 and the mountains are shattered into [countless] shards, 5 So that they will become floating dust particles. 6 you shall be divided into three parties, 7 Those of the right hand -- how (happy) will be those of the right hand! 8 The people of the left hand - those whose books of records will be placed in their left hands. How miserable they will be! 9 And the foremost are the foremost, 10 (The foremost ones) will be the nearest ones to God 11 In gardens of bliss [will they dwell] 12 A [large] company of the former peoples 13 and only a few of them from the later generations. 14 On lined couches, 15 reclining upon them, set face to face, 16 they will be waited on by ageless youths 17 carrying goblets and ewers and cups filled with the purest wine, 18 by which their minds will not be clouded and which will not make them drunk; 19 And with fruits, any that they may select: 20 And the meat of fowl, from whatever they desire. 21 And companions with big beautiful eyes 22 like hidden pearls, 23 A recompense for that which they have been working. 24 They will not hear any useless speech in it, or any sin. 25 except each other's greetings of, "Peace be with you". 26 And those on the right – how (fortunate) are those on the right! 27 Among thornless lote-trees 28 And plantains laden with fruit. 29 and continuous shade, 30 and flowing water 31 and fruit abounding, 32 undiminished and never denied 33 on raised couches. 34 We have created maidens perfectly 35 And have made them virgins. 36 chastely amorous, 37 For the companions of the right [who are] 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
